If you operate a commercial motor vehicel intrastate in Texas, you require a Texas Motor Carrier Number, in addition to your DOT Number.

If you are not registed as a Texas Motor Carrier, you will be required to register as a Texas business which is a separate process that incurs fees.

Fee is per truck, operating under the same DOT number.
